"I am 31 years old and have had a negative
idea about the ‘gym’. The ‘gym’ has always been something that I didn’t want to join, for various reasons, none that were really
good excuses though! I have also decided to join the RCMP and needed to get in shape to complete the PARE test.
I made the decision that I could not do this on my own and thought that a personal trainer would be able to help.
I was new to the whole personal trainer thing and was relieved when I was teamed up with Kristian. Kristian has a very
positive attitude and has the type of personality that he can get along with anyone. I explained my goals to Kristian and he
immediately started gathering information, and put together a comprehensive training package that best suited my goals.
Along the way I got to know Kristian more and more and we developed a friendship, something extra that I got out of the
personal training program! After 12 sessions and one successful PARE test result later, I am still attending the gym and loving it.
Kristian’s dedication to his clients does not stop on the last session; he is always there to answer my questions and
took the time to develop a workout program that I can follow on my own.

Robbie Wong - Provincial Bench Press Champ - 26 yr. old male
I am 25 years old and have been working out
for over 9 years. Currently, I am a regular patron at gyms all over my city where my favorite exercise is the bench press.
Since I was 18 years old I’ve been consistently bench-pressing weight that most bigger guys would struggle with.
Over the past year and a half I quickly gained interest in the sport of Powerlifting. At my local gym I looked for a program
to give me quick gains, and I was immediately introduced to Kristian. Once I heard about his previous accomplishments in the
Benchpress, Squats and Deadlifts at the national level, I knew I had something to learn from him.
In June 2007 Kristian coached me through regular twice a week sessions that improved my benchpress to a new level.
He showed extreme patience and gave me the motivation to push through my training plateaus when I felt frustrated and defeated.
Finally, at the recent Alberta Powerlifting Provincial Championships I competed at the 75kg weight class, although I only weighed
in at 70.7kg (155.5 pounds). The end result was a 1st place finish in the Benchpress with a personal record of 320 lbs!

“All my life I’ve enjoyed endurance sports;
however lately, reoccurring injuries have kept me on the sidelines. Past coaches have encouraged me to strength train saying it
would significantly reduce my injuries, but I kept convincing myself I was getting enough strength from my activities.
Looking back, I realize the main reason I was putting off strength training was because I was too intimidated and overwhelmed to
walk into a gym which I thought was only for Schwarzenegger wannabes. Finally, after attending one too many events as a spectator,
I decided to start looking for a Personal Trainer who specialized in athletic performance and fortunately Kristian came highly
recommended.
In just a short time Kristian’s training has propelled me to heights I never thought imaginable. First, he helped me define
my goals and designed an individual program plan. Next, he oriented me with the machines in the gym and taught me the basic
principles/techniques of strength training. I’ve been training with Kristian 2-3x/week for the past six months and he’s now
graduated me to the advanced level.
WOW! My body is stronger, leaner and most importantly, I’ve been able to participate in physical activities injury free!
I use to think I didn’t need strength training, but now I’d never workout without Kristian’s knowledge, patience and support!”
